September 24th, 2008Not bad depth of field and bokeh from the G9. Not bad at all. This was the tree where I saw a moth right after I got this shot. I resituated the camera and started to get all framey when it flew right by me. I don’t like moths, no matter how pretty they might be. Anything that has enough camouflage to blend in that well is instantly more scary because YOU DIDN’T SEE IT 10 SECONDS BEFORE YOU WERE ALL CASUAL ABOUT TAKING ARTY PHOTOS.
Still have the prickles just thinking about that damn moth. o

@ikarl67 - I kinda like the idea of “The Pickles” as a condition. It just makes everything sound less serious:
I got The Pickles when I read that the Dow plummeted 400 points.
I was overcome with The Pickles when I read that McCain was ahead of Obama in the polls.
Hearing about the $700 Gazillion bailout gave me a serious case of The Pickles.
Yeah, doesn’t work so well after all. I really don’t feel any better, dammit.
But it does sound funny, for what that’s worth.
