Cigar Neon
October 1st, 2008Taken in the part of Knoxville called Old City. I could shoot this part of town for hours at a time and come back day after day. At this point in the trip, it was my final day in Knoxville and I had neglected to charge the camera battery the night before, so I was not using the LCD screen on the back of the G9. Instead, I used the viewfinder. Imagine.
This shot and the several that will follow are from a relatively quick walk in the Old City section of Knoxville. o

Love this image! Has kind of a noir, but a friendly one, if that makes any sense. Also I just adore neon signs like this.

Really cool shot, I love the details and the lighting on the side of the building.
How would you rate battery life on the G9? I’ve been perfectly happy with mine, but I don’t really have anything to compare it to.
