A Day Late

Have you got the latest Lensbaby? I’m thinking of getting one for my beloved D70.
Anyway this photo is lovely, especially the mottled damage to the leaves…don’t you just adore autumn? The colours here in Northern England are just amazing, we had a wet then dry summer which has proved perfect for the colouring:

Please, more lovely autumn photos – it will keep us going through the winter!!
@minxlj Be careful… the Lensbaby and Nikon light metering don’t play nice together. See the FAQ on the Lensbaby site. After talking with the people at the camera store they said I could achieve the same effect with this… http://www.ritzcamera.com/product/241665520msk.htm Haven’t experimented with it too much yet but so far so good.
What a great pop of color, and the texture on the center leaf is an added bonus.
Blurry love is pretty great.
Really cool photo and love that color. I SO want a Lensbaby after seeing all your photos in which you’ve used it. Hopefully a good bonus at Christmas will allow that purchase (plus two other lenses on my wish list).
Isn’t autumn just the best time of year! The trees are all turning scarlet and yellow and orange here in the Arkansas Ozarks and there is a nip in the air that has me dragging my soft, worn flannel shirts out of the closet.
I’m baking bread and feeling good about an Obama presidency, so I’m as warm and fuzzy as your photo. ; )
I wish the autumn leaves here in Omaha were as pretty and colorful as the ones in your photo.
Gorgeous, Jon.
@meowsk–Thanks for the tip. After going to my usual camera store (’cause I do try to keep my $ local) and finding nothing in stock, the guy there told me which one to order for my D40 from the site you linked to. I can’t wait to try it out!
