And slightly terrified. I’ve heard that one kid to two kids is an easier transition than no baby to one baby. But I’ve also heard the other way.

Personal experience:
0 -> 1 was rough.
1 -> 2 was not as bad.
2 -> 3 was much worse… our oldest was just turning 4 while the middle had just turned 2. Had their ages been more spread out, I think it would have gone much better.

Congratulations! I’ve abandoned my lurking ways on both your blog and Heather’s today to celebrate this great news!
I met both of you at the “Things I Learned About My Dad in Therapy” book signing in Brooklyn last spring, and I always meant to tell you how gracious and lovely you both were that whole evening. I watched you both take the time to chat with every single person who stood in that line and pose for photos (including mine), and you seemed to be having just as much fun as all the people who came to see you.
Do you hear me Internet? Heather and Jon are really nice and charming in person. Also? Really tall.

Congratulations!! My 2 kids are 5 years apart…seems like that will be about the same for your kiddos. I personally feel like that is the perfect age difference. Is Leta excited?
