Twiglets
December 26th, 2008We’ve had a very white week. Which, technically, we always have, because as you may have guessed, we are of the caucasian. Also, lots of snow, especially last night. We woke up to more than a foot of snow on the ground, two or more feet in the driveways where the plows have moved it.
This year, several neighbors have health stuff going on and the snow thrower is kicking major ass in the neighborly department. I’m very happy that I have the right tool for the job, because I can’t even imagine moving all the snow from my own walks and drive, much less the neighbors without the beasty snow thrower. I spent two hours moving snow. We’ve only seen a couple of snow plow passes, which means I’ll likely have to go out and hit the driveway(s) again.
Hope your holidays are being fantastic. Mine have been wonderful. For the first time in years, I feel pretty healthy and not stricken with a cold or flu or the blues. Yay, chemistry! o

Well, I can give you a big hear! hear! on the chemistry part. First Christmas in decades I haven’t wanted to…okay, that’s unpleasant talk.
Hard to think about snow removal here in Florida where it’s (don’t hate me) over seventy today. If it makes you feel any better, it’s REALLY humid.
“we are of the caucasian”
LOL!!
I’m glad you’re healthy, ’cause I got some crazy cold/flu thing on Xmas day and spent all today in bed trying to break the fever. I finally did, but it’s still semi-miserable.
Anyway, nice shot, and enjoy the rest of your holidays!
I have seen more snow in Vancouver than I can ever remember. Fortunately, I am staying in a high rise and there are staff to clear the sidewalks and entrances.
No one clears the crosswalks, however, so every trip out means gymnastics to try to avoid the huge puddles at intersections, now that the snow is melting.
I also got some cruddy infection start on Christmas Eve.
All in all, an indoor, quiet holiday for me.
Yay for chemistry and yay for snowblowers!! Good on you, Jon. Sounds like you’ve had a good Christmas.
Love your cold, snowy capture.
I’ve had some great days back at my old folks house.

You are a good neighbor.
