That’s awesome. I have a cluster of pansies coming up in a flower bed, at least 100 feet away from any flower bed/pot I had actually planted pansies. Those suckers are tough! here in SE Alaska they’re ideal for the large variances in temperature we have in early & late summer.
I suppose if you wanted to kill it, you could transplant it to a nice pot, fertilize and water it, and watch it die despite all of your efforts. At least that’s how I do it.
Sounds like we’ve both attended the same Brown Thumb Vocational Institute. I always see these lovelies at the nursery and turn away in sadness knowing it is never to be.
Crazy PRETTY.
Love this shot! I saw something similar in a park in Nashville today and couldn’t get the right angle. Glad you’re finally seeing Spring up there!
I am in awe of your photographs. They are awesome. Thank you so much for posting, it makes my morning every time there is a new one.
Great shot!
Gorgeous pansies (don’t you just love their little monkey faces?), gorgeous photo.
Oh nice, you’ve got pansies growing in your cracks. Ben planted some in our front yard and managed to keep them alive for a few months. But now they’ve wilted for good because it’s 90 degrees outside and it will only get hotter.
coco and chuck got together to give you more photo fodder. they ARE actually doing something when they appear to be fighting… beautiful flowers.
So beautiful! Pansies are one of my faves. And they’re edible! Truly!
