I am a sucker for bright flowers coming out of cement as well. However, rather than wondering where they are coming from, perhaps you should be evaluating the state of your patio?
When I moved into my house in May 2004, I found a 4″ tall marajuana plant growing in the crack between the garage slab and the driveway. We transplanted it and it grew to be about as long as my arm. No buds, but it felt dangerous anyway.
The Pansy Fairy (I know, that’s kinda redundant, huh?) has obviously been hanging out on your patio when you’re not looking…
