Winter Gold
June 10th, 2009Since we’ve had little summer here, it feels like Portland or Seattle; cool, some rain, afternoon clouds and overnight thunderstorms. I’m not complaining per se about the cool weather, as I’m sure it’s going to be a hot summer in a week or so.
As a reminder to myself about the bitter cold of winter I thought I’d share this one that I took in January. The light was really nice and took to my post-processing very well. I love how the podlings look like butterfly/moth wings, frozen and still. o

Funny that you compare it to Seattle, because it’s been so hot in our apartment here that I SLEPT ON THE FLOOR, because it was closer to the fan. We had a bit of wind last weekend, but otherwise it’s been toasty where I live.
Wanna trade weather? I like light rains and mist (which is one reason why I moved here.)
