Dude, tell me about it. Here in the Boston area, it is raining out right now like a cow pissing on a flat rock … with thunder and lightning thrown in for good measure … and it has been doing it for DAYS.
If I wanted to live in Seattle, I’d have moved there.
I DO live in the Seattle area. You guys have stolen all of our rain, it’s been very close to, if not the, driest June on record. I fled Utah because of the incessant sun and hot weather! (Well, not ENTIRELY because of that…) June temps have been in the high 70’s and even 80’s…August weather.
Here in Maine, it has rained every day since June 6th. We just set a record for coldest high temperature on record for the day. I have not seen the sun in so long I don’t think I’d recognize it. I’m building an ark and gathering up two of every animal!
Doug, I will happily give you back your weather. It sucks.
I never thought I had seasonal affective disorder until now.
I feel your pain. I’m in New Hampshire and I’ve seen the sun once now in three weeks time. ONCE! I’m from the South and used to getting sun all the time…I had to start taking Vitamin D because my mood was drowning in all the rain.
Here in NC we’re receptive to you sending the rain our way. We don’t want to have to start conserving H2O if possible. I’m also one of those “crazies” who love rainy days, one after the other. Happy 4th to all of you, dogs included!
I love the rain! Of course, I am a Utah transplant, born in Oregon. It felt like we had a real spring, and everything is all lush and green. I didn’t have to run my heater, air conditioner or sprinklers for a long time. Always a good thing! …and don’t worry, the heat always comes in July.

We’re getting our rainy season now, too. Wildfires and burn bans in April, rain and chill in July? Totally backwards.
Been raining in Cleveand al week too, we haven’t even seen any real summer yet…

Uh, yeah, sorry Jon. It’s gorgeous up here in the Sunny Pacific Northwest. You’re all welcome to visit.

Um, yeah. We had something like 25 out of the 30 days of June with rain in S.E. Connecticut. Hey, guess what? THE EARTH BROKE!
