I still miss the 1972 Buick LeSabre my dad bought in 1983. It had 20k miles on it and was in amazing shape. That car died in 1990 and I didn’t have the $$$ to save her. I still feel bad about that.

I know how you feel. I had a 1968 Chevy Nova, the previous owner was my aunt, and she never drove it in the winter. [And that means something in Ohio!]
I got it when I was 16, and I loved that car, and I drove it until I couldn’t drive it any more. That was in the early 1990’s when I was in college.
I always dreamed of fixing ‘er up, showing her in the local auto shows…I had such big plans; I just couldn’t make it happen. /sigh/ Like I said, I know how you feel.
