Descending from Hurrah Pass

Finally getting to our Moab shots. This was taken on our way back down from our day trip to Hurrah Pass. Not sure you can make it out, but just down from center there is an encampment. It’s difficult to show scale on shots like this, but there is a dirt road running lower left through lower center. The views on this road are spectacular. I’ll post some more shots from our journey down to the Colorado River. It was in the sandy bottoms where I got to do some awesome driving, causing even more freakage from Heather. Worth it.

I’m trying to get more deep focus shots and our trip to Moab was good practice. One note, this was taken with the 5D, as I forgot the battery (left it in the charger) for the 5D Mark II when we headed out for the day. Not good.

Very minimal retouching (sky filter, vignette and a few saturation sliders) on this one.
