Broken wooden crucifix along the church’s rock wall at Vidareidi, Faroe Islands. This is the most provocatively title shot I took the entire tour. The title can mean a literal take on the New Testament crucifixion of Jesus, a larger statement about Luther/Lutheranism/Reformation with a dislike for crucifixes and finally the title could be referring to the subject’s wood being broken. The clouds offer a nice counterbalance to the whole thing.
