Rep. Gabrielle Giffords led a huge crowd in the Pledge of Allegiance at a candlelight vigil in Tucson, Ariz. on Sunday. The event was held to remember a shooting there one year ago that killed six people, and wounded Giffords and others:
Pretty amazing to watch, considering the awfulness of that day a year ago. As the reports came in of the shooting, especially the reports that Giffords was shot in the head, I never expected to see her survive, much less do something like this.
