I walked by this statue about 1700 times while we were in New Orleans. The only time the light was remotely intriguing was late at night.
I’m not sure I quite imagined Ignatius J. Riley looking like this. I might have to re-read the book and re-imagine him as a bit more stately. There is a dignity to this statue that I didn’t ascribe to the character is what I’m getting at.
