Light is on, Jim

Took this one on the phone, pulled it onto my Mac. Opened it using VintageScene, available in the App Store for $7.99. It’s one way to get a filtered look for not a lot of money and is easy to use. In this case, I lost a lot of the blacks, which is what happens a lot in VintageScene, so I saved it out as a TIFF (VintageScene will save PNG, JPG and TIFF) and then pulled it into Photoshop and did a bunch of layer adjustments. This kept the texture and crazy filters, but gave me much more control over the color. I saved it from inside Photoshop as a layered TIFF and did a Save for Web to minimize any JPEG artifacts that would distract from the texture and color choices.
