The whole album is fantastic, but this one stood out. Intense and super repetitive, I’m reminded of Steve Reich’s Desert Music and Philip Glass’ soundtrack for Koyaanisqatsi (especially in the middle section). Meredith is a classically trained composer and it shows. The sequenced guitar at the beginning and the vocal harmonies in the middle bite both of the masters of repetition, but Meredith adds some Pixies guitar in the mix and ear worm city.
