What Fast Looks Like

When I lived in England the Isle of Man was a coveted assignment, especially if you got to be there during the TT race events. Because of the distance from the mission office, the Isle of Man missionaries wouldn’t always make it in for transfers. On transfer days, I’d jealously ask any missionaries who had made the trek in if they had photos and invariably they did. The way they all described the TT was with an almost reverent tone. I never got assigned on the Isle, but I always have a reminiscent period any time I see a video. I’ve seen a lot of them on YouTube, but this one is the best:

I’m not sure how one trains to recover from a wobbly jump at 100+ mph, but whatever that entails, it appears to be working. Every wobbly landing had me holding my breath. Insane.
