I posted an image taken with the iPhone 4S yesterday. I pointed out how the new phone’s camera hardware and software seems to handle lens flare a lot better than previous versions of the phone. I thought it might be good to post a gallery of examples of this phenomenon for the sake of comparison. If you look at these shots, you can see, to varying intensity, a series of reddish/pinkish ovals. Not a huge deal, and at first, I embraced it. And then I didn’t like it because it was ruining shots.
