Taken during the #jarviewalk (yes, I’m hashing in a post), this is a 200mm shot of the angel Moroni, a prominent figure in Mormon scripture. I’ve seen this sculpture hundreds (thousands?) of times and I’ve never noticed that his left hand is clenched. A definite case of not looking close enough over the years. And a case that maybe I should look at the world through a 200mm lens more often.
